24/3/12     Grannuspirit (Spirit)  attended Kingswood for his first competition of the year and achieved cores of 68.4% in Medium 75 and 69.7% in Advanced Medium 92 that put him into first place in both classes. What a brilliant start, we just need to keep it going now. 

At last, we have starte d our competition season. The first outing for Breitlingkavalier (Sparky) was to Prescott Equestrian centre, Shropshire. Sparky was very well behaved for an inexperienced horse and achieved 67.7% in his Novice class and finished 2nd.  I have to say, I was very pleased with his attitude throughout the whole competition.

1/2/12     Elaine is based in Oswestry and currently competes with 2 of her own horses Granus Spirit ( Spirit)  and  Sparky.

Spirit is currently competing at Medium and Advanced Medium levels, and finished 2011 on a high with yet another first place. He was always in the prizes at Medium and also had some good results at Advanced Medium.

Elaines plan for Spring 2012 for Spirit is to go out at Advanced Medium and as soon as he's qualified to move up to Advanced competitions. For Sparky, he is just beginning his career and will go out at Novice.

 It's been a slow start to 2012 with lorry servicing, repair and preparation for test, so once the snow has passed Elaine will be off competing again.Elaine along with Rhiannon Hinton ( her daughter inlaw) are out competing almost every week so their Fly Away logod saddle cloths will be seen out and about ' flying the flag' so to speak.
